Super Robot Taisen OG - The Inspector Episode 3

There's a lot of characters appearing in this episode so expect this one to be really long. For the most part, I have no problem with this episode but well, the anime, like always, change things they shouldn't have.

To those who didn't watch the first season or played the first game, this place might not look important but it is. Before the DC war, a meteor struck earth and landed near this island. The meteor is later named meteor 3 which brought with it a lot of extraterrestrial substances and technology. Heck, that meteor isn't even a meteor in the first place. With those substances and technology, earth developed technologies way ahead of its time which will be referred as EOT, extra over technology. Throughout the series, you might be hearing "Tesla Drive" a lot, it is one of the EOT mentioned before which enables flight to mechs.

Hagane
One of the main spaceship in the game alongside the Hiryuu Custom which hasn't appeared yet. Hagane is the sistership of the Shirogane but better in every way possible. Better captain, better weaponry, also it has tronium cannon.
Minase Daitetsu (left) and Onodera Testuya (right)
Daitetsu is the captain of the Hagane and an amazing man he is. Tetsuya is the XO (search for it yourself, it's a military rank) of the Hagane. Those two make up the "pilot" of the Hagane. Although I did mention Hagane is better than the Shirogane, for the most part, spaceship is a joke in the battlefield. They can't dodge shit and there's so much damage they can tank before dying.
White Death Cross, or for short, White Death or Judecca, is the core of the aerogaters. Their leader. It was destroyed in the L5 Campaign and the wreckage fell into earth.
Lamia knows something about the Aerogaters
This deviates from the game. Lamia shouldn't know anything about the Aerogaters and it bumps up the players and the other cast's suspicion towards her. Like, who doesn't know the existence of a group that invaded earth
Kobayashi Aya (left) and Date Ryusei (right)
Two of the SRX team has appeared! Ryusei or Ryu is one of the two main character in the first game (alongside Kyousuke) but isn't that great compared to Kyousuke. Don't get me wrong, Ryu can hold himself well in battle and with a bit of developing, he can be great but well, R1 can never outshine Alt. Aya, on the other hand, is mediocre at best. Her main purpose is support or just be there so that the SRX can combine. Other than that, she can dodge but that's it.
Latooni Subota
And here's the best pilot in the game. Literally best pilot in both games especially the first one. Why so? She has godly evasion. Why is that good? You can't damage someone you can't touch which made her practically invincible in the battlefield (unless your opponent has "strike" on). They kinda nerfed her in the second game to the point where she actually needs some development to be able to do what she could do in the first game without any. What did she capable of doing one might ask. Charging straight into the enemy line alone, kill everyone, and return unscathed. Heck, the final boss of the first game, Judecca has like 5% chance to hit her while Lat have 100% to hit Judecca. With some abilities and some traits, she can reduce that to 0% with practically no cost. Literally best pilot and best character.

Some people might not realize her potential sadly since she got thrown into the piece of junk called Gespenst and other bad mechs. She's not supposed to pilot any super robot, it is a sin to make her pilot one. Alright, I'll stop talking about Latooni. As you can guess already, she's my favorite character.
Kitamura Kai
A member of the Aggressors. What is the Aggressors? It's a special unit created from ace pilots, not much has been said about it sadly. The member of the aggressors was Kai, Sanger, Gilliam, and Elzam. The latter three hasn't appeared but but they're OP as hell. Kai, on the other hand, feels subpar knowing his background. He's a jack of all trades, master of none. His mech is the gespenst doesn't help him at all too.

Here Kai mentioned he and Lat is the member of the Special Tactics Instruction Squad (STIS) which doesn't exist in the game. In the game, Kai, Lat, and Raidiese are the new member of the Aggressors which is cooler in my opinion.
Raidiese F. Branstein
Raidiese or Rai is the last member of the SRX team and the best pilot among them. Although he pales in comparison to his broken brother, Elzam, Rai will wreck his enemies easily in the battlefield. He's definitely one of my mainstay. Being able to form the SRX is also a huge plus.
Villeta Prisken
The leader of the SRX team, taking Ingram's position when he betrayed them. Viletta is, well, what you'd expect from her position. She's an amazing pilot given the right mechs. Again, not as good as she is in the first game but is still really strong.
Seolla Scweizer (left) and Arado Balanga (right)
These two are the two graduates from the Bronzo class of The School. I won't say much about The School, the first game did briefly go through it but it is fully developed in this one. The two are trained as a pair and should work as a pair. Later on, their mechs are made to be a pair too. Seolla is without a doubt the better of the two though but Arado isn't that bad himself.... who am I kidding, he's really terrible until he get his wurger. Personally since I use him often, he got quite strong more often than not in my games and with Seolla in the team, man, they wreck things.
R-Blade
Before I get into the mech, I'll say one thing. This mock battle didn't happen in the game. Ryusei isn't supposed to be with them in the first place.

R-Blade, the prototype to the R-Gun and is a close-ranged oriented mech suited for Ryu. Personally I'm not a fan of it, it has ok evasion but little to no armor. You need someone who can evade in this to use send it to the frontline, else it'll get shoot down.
Wildfalken
Wildfalken is definitely up there in my favorite mech list. I mean, doesn't it look cool? Anyway, Wildfalken is designed to be a successor to the Weiss so it kinda look similar and has similar weaponry too. Wildfalken has 2 very obvious strength, it's mobility and range. It can easily dodge things, move out and snipe things from afar.
Hahahaha. Bullshit. Believe me, if we run base stat Ryu vs base stat Latooni with Ryu in R-Blade and Lat in Wildfalken, Lat will win 100% of the time. Again, you can't damage what you can't hit. But well, power of the plot!
Umm, why is Lat wearing a pilot suit.... I mean it look really good on her and I really like it but shouldn't Lat wear her goth loli uniform.. or will that happen after she meet Shine later, I can't remember.
Thank God this didn't happen in-game. I would cry if I have to use Kai to hold back Yuu and his squad of Guarlion using a freaking Gespenst.
Latooni D:
The anime changed this a bit from the game. In the game, Seolla and Lat didn't land to the ground, instead they're standing on their mech's cockpit hatch. Seolla did shoot Lat and Lat fell from the hatch which is way way worse than this. Also don't hurt Lat D:
