Seasonal Anime: Summer 2016

This is a short post of my overall thoughts on everything from Summer 2016. I'll try to keep it fairly short and I will probably write in more detail in some later date in my (not so) random anime segments.

1. Re:Zero Kara Hajimaru Isekai Seikatsu

Score: 9.5/10

Yes, I'm well aware that Re:Zero is from last season and span two cours but since it finished in this season, I put it here instead. This series like many popular series gained an amazing quantity of fans alongside with similarly sized haters. Just ignore those haters. Haters gonna hate. I have to say that I really love this series, the story, the world, and the character development are really good. Especially the character development. The dark story and Subaru's suffering just add to my entertainment. Seriously, I highly recommend it to anyone.

That moment when everyone argue who is the best, Emilia or Rem, and you like Felt the best

2. Love Live! Sunshine!!

Score: 8.5/10

Although Love Live! Sunshine!! doesn't get thr highest score from me, or anywhere close to being the highest, Love Live Sunshine without a doubt entertain me the most and is the single series i look forward the most. Not even Re:Zero made me anticipate the next episode that much. Considering how much i love Re:Zero, that speaks a lot. I'm going to make a seperate thoughts for Love Live Sunshine since i have a feeling that it'll be the longest one i will ever make. Point is, I really enjoy this, no, this is the most enjoyable series this season.

3. New Game

Score: 7.5/10

When I read the synopsis, I thought "at last an anime about game industry" and been looking forward to it. Now, well, true, it's still an anime about game industry... like K-On! is an anime about light music club. Yeah, both said series just barely skimping on the surface of the topic without going anywhere in depth into it. I know that going to full detail would be hard and most likely be boring but doing it like bakuman or shirobako would be great. That said, i still gave a decent score for this series for its cheerfulness and quite heart-warming to watch and relax.

4. Planetarian: Chiisana Hoshi no Yume

Score: 9/10

This is a rather short series with only 5 episodes. I'm not going to say much since I've made a full thoughts on it some time ago but to sum it up, watch it, it's truly a great series.

Plan to Watch:

1. Shokugeki no Souma Ni no Sara

I'm a manga reader of Shokugeki no Souma but since I've heard that the second season is rushing through the story, I hold back on watching it but who knows, I might watch it someday

2. Arslan Senki S2

I loved the first season of Arslan Senki but for some reason unknown to myself, the second season didn't appeal all that much to me, I'll still watch it, but not now

3. Tales of Zestiria the X

I've heard people saying that Zestiria is good, I might try it. This is still an anime from a game though and I never had any good experience with it.

4. Masou Gakuen HxH

This is the obligatory ecchi harem school series from every single season. Why did i put it on my plan to watch? Because my friend had recommended me to watch it. So, I might... someday.. in the future... which may or may not come.
